i have just come from a long line of touchscreen phones too this. My last one was a omnia 2. I am so glad to give up the touchscreen experience. Great at first, awesome for scrolling around things but not the easiest to use. I know the screens are improving daily and would consider going back but i must say at the minute i am in love with the e72. It has all the features and more from the best touchscreen and put them in this really well made slim line package. I have used nokias before includiing the very popular 5800 and hated them, but i thought i would take a chance with the e72 and i am glad, its runs very quickly, no lag whatsoever. Screen is good albeit a little amall (last phone screen was 3.7 inches) but i have no problem with it at all. If your looking to get away from touchscreens the you could do worse than this phone. Just a little note to say this review was typed on the e73.

The E71 was a good concept from Nokia, but it had too many flaws, Nokia clearly listened because the E72 does everything its predecessor could only dream of. for example it's business Exchange client is excellent, you can now see your inbox as well as all your sub folders, 5MP camera, the handsfree jack is now on the top of the phone rather than the side which avoids dammage to the jacks also the E72 has a universal jack rather than the thin one seen on the E71, the phone's software is faster, and it comes packed full to the rafters with additional software.
