I have a CK-7W installed originally with a Nokia 6820 (in the US), and everything worked fine with the connection via bluetooth. Then, I switched to a Blackberry 7290, and again everything was fine via bluetooth connection. Now, I've switched again to the Blackberry 7100 series phone, and the bluetooth connection is sporadic at best (doesn't connect automatically, drops and doesn't re-acquire, things like that). PLUS, when I connect a call using this device, the person speaking to me while I'm in the car complains that they hear their voice in an echo while they are speaking. I've tested it and it is true - REALLY annoying. Has anyone heard of something like this? I'm trying to isolate to the phone or the car-kit, but it's tough... |
riccie11:44 16 Aug 05 1 Posts I have your previous combo a CK-7w together with the blackberry 7290, you are writing everything was fine. I have the pair mine combo each time manually and when it is paired the receiving party has a treble echo on the line. How was your combo working? How did you connect the bb to the carkit? Do you remember which BlackBerry OS was installed on your 7290? |

I agree with Terry, using non Nokia handsets on Nokia Bluetooth car kits is a real no go. The CK3000 evolution is an excellent kit. Smart Portable Commications (UK) Limited 'Nationwide Car Kit Installers' W: www.smart-corporate.com T: 0870 444 5941 E: info@smart-corporate.com |

Joeydc07:13 10 Jan 06 1 Posts Hello, I was just browsing and had a really good read of your story above. I must say that this is a mirror dilema I'm having at 100%! Just got the this same car kit and it works fine with Nokia and Motorola phones. When I was issued the Blackberry 7100t, I experienced exactly whay you wrote - word for word. Did you manage to fix this problem? If you did, I would really appreciate it if you let me know how. |
if you have a Blackberry 7100 then get a parrot kit, it simply won't work with the CK-7W. regards Terry Web- www.siocommunications.co.uk Email - websales@siocommunications.co.uk Tel - 01506 882566 Tech Forum - http://users.boardnation.com/~sio_communications/index.php |
