DVP unable to reconnect after signal loss. (SOLVED) [Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 Smartphone - 205052]

I finally found out what was causing the following issue and figured I'd post this for anyone who sees the same behavior:


As soon as my DVP loses the signal it refused to reconnect by itself. I had to reboot several times a day to get the signal back up and running...

I found the cause: Sim Security was on. (meaning that you have to enter your SIM code when the phone is switched on.)

As soon as I switched off Sim Security ( under Phone > Settings ) the phone managed to reconnect by itself. 

Not sure if this is a WP7 issue or a Dell issue...
