Stopped Working? [IOGEAR Wireless Bluetooth Mouse - 119847]

This mouse has quite suddenly stopped talking to my laptop although it has been working fine. Symptoms are that when you switch on the switch underneath, the red laser flicks on very briefly then goes out. I assumed that maybe the batteries needed recharging and connected the USB charging lead. All that happens is that a blue light blinks but the red laser light still doesn't stay on and the mouse will not connect to the laptop (Toshiba Portege M100). Any ideas? Is it just broken?

Me too. Wonder if this is a manufacturer defect?

Figured it out. It's the crap rechargeable batteries, once you replace them you should have no problem. By the way, I did a podcast review of this mouse a little while ago, complete with show notes and a transcript. gamingandtech.com podcast #1
