Lenovo Legion Pro 2 5G Dual-SIM Gaming Phone Reviews
- Good impressions for first gaming phone.
- First, even though it says "CN with Google" model, luckily it seems like the CN model with Global ROM installed, because I didn't have any Chinese apps at all. The thing comes with factory screen protector and clear case, which is pretty cool so beefy and runs everything smoothly and high framerate. The back gets insanely hot when running high power games though! I was pleasantly surprised on how much i liked the pressure sensitive buttons. the tactile feedback is really well done it almost feels like real buttons. 4 shoulder buttons work as expected. A bit hard to find the button if switching rapidly between L/R1 and L/R2 as its just a small indent, but probably can get used to the positioning over time, The 2 zones for swiping up and down on the back clefts i don't really like it is hard to actuate consistently. Not sure if sensor problem or on purpose for aggressive accidental press filtering. The pressure sensitivity button on left and right middle of front screen is most surprising, its feels like using a joystick click button but even more natural to use from any finger position. I am someone not used to accurately pressing touch screen virtual buttons, and having this easy to actuate extra dimension of control I am loving a lot Cameras are decent, but remember high megapixels don't necessarily mean more clarity. It does have high frame rate, so you wont get lots of motion blur and it camera preview is crisp and nice. I had to turn off all those beauty filters on the selfie cam looks too weird middle of screen fingerprint sensor works alright, but but annoying to do 2 step turn on phone screen and then scan finger by placing exactly on the finger print icon. my thumb is calloused and has dry skin and this sensor takes long to scan my thumb. It is better after deleting print and re-adding, but i would rather just use another finger. Also for some reason the fingerprint list settings page doesn't even have a test fingerprint, so that's annoying i am impressed at how good the speakers sound. stereo speakers sound so clear and balanced. having your hands holding in landscape kind of funnels the sound into your ear more too. The bass may be a tad weak, but still great for phone speakers
