What is a B-Stock Item?

Items are marked as b-stock because they have been returned by a customer or have been used internally as marketing demo units, and are therefore ineligible to be resold as new. B-Stock items may also be referred to as "Open Box". B-Stock items may exhibit significant signs of use such as scratches on the case or screen that do not affect the usability of the device, 2 or fewer dead pixels, or dents in the casing. B-stock items may come in plain boxes without original accessories. On occasion, these units may have refurbished by a 3rd party through software resets or other minor hardware fixes. All items should be in good working order unless otherwise noted, and significant defects beyond those outlined above will be noted in the product title and/or description.

What warranty coverage are b-stock items eligible for?

"B-Stock" and "Open Box" items are sold on a strict "first-come, first served" basis. Unless otherwise noted in the product title or description, customer has 30 days from time of delivery to notify EXPANSYS of a defective or incorrectly described item. Defects listed in the product description or which do not affect the usability of the device are ineligible for return. B-Stock and Open Box items may NOT be returned for any reason other than defect or incorrect descriptions on the EXPANSYS website.

Can you take a picture of the item I'm getting or pick out the best one for me?

As mentioned above, these items are sold on a first-come, first serve basis. As there may be multiple items listed under a single b-stock sku we are unable to take pictures of individual items. Likewise, it would be unfair to cherry-pick the best units for individual customers. Whilst some devices may be in pristine condition, we cannot guarantee it for any individual customer. Customers who want to ensure their purchase is in perfect condition are encouraged to purchase a new device rather than a b-stock device.

Why should I buy B-Stock Items?

B-Stock goods are substantially lower-priced than their "new" or even "refurbished" counterparts, allowing you to enjoy the latest technology at a significantly lower cost.
